I apologize for my faint absence the past few weeks, I've actually been doing a lot of personal thinking and making decisions regarding my future. I've also wanted to take a few minutes and breathe, and take into consideration the posts I'd like to feature on my blog.
See, I wanted this blog to be unconventional. But I also wanted it to be inconspicuous. Originally I was going to leave this blog as a sort of e-diary where I could write about anything that came to my mind whether it be a load of crap or something so incredibly deep that I thought of at three o'clock in the morning. In the end, it wouldn't matter because no one would be reading it, and if they were they were probably just perusing the internet and happened to fall upon it. Well here I am now, and I've got all of these wonderful ideas and only a handful of readers. Which honestly, couldn't be any better because that means I can still post anything and everything, even if it is crap. And it won't matter.
I was actually headed into a direction with this blog post, and it wasn't going to be about my blog. So I'll go for it now.
Today I've got a story for you. (Be excited).
Once upon a time, there were two lovely friends. One was named Brianna and the other Sara. They had known each other since they were nine years old, but it wasn't until their twelfth birthday that they realized that they had a special bond. Brianna was sweet and quiet, and Sara was just the right amount of boisterous energy to make anyone smile. While their personalities might have been different, the two shared a love of fun and laughter. Years passed and the two girls remained best friends; however things still changed though as they grew older. Brianna began to open up and wasn't as quiet anymore, while Sara was still happy--but a bit more reserved. It wasn't anything bad, the two were maturing. Maturing in their own ways. They now went to separate schools and didn't get to see each other quiet as often as before, but that didn't mean both girls weren't happy. Sara had found a boy in whom she cared deeply for, and Brianna developed in many talents that she enjoyed.
Friendship is like a tree, if not tended to it can often grow in several different ways and directions.
Now nearly five years have passed since the two girls became friends, distances have increased and time together has decreased.
Sara could is growing up very fast, and Brianna is still trying to decide what her favorite breakfast food is. Both are very happy in the lives they are leading, but is it too late to trim back the tree and groom to what could be a wonderful friendship?
To be perfectly honest I'm not really sure where the story goes from here. I'm still living it.
But I'll let you know when I figure it out.
